As a Senior Dev Sec Ops Engineer, your mission involves identifying requirements and implementing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), crafting CI/CD strategies, and ensuring the highest standards of code quality and security inside the pipelines of our customers.Your expertise in the Azure, AWS Cloud platform, vulnerability
management, and security automation will be crucial. You’ll delve into
Docker Container platforms (OpenShift, AKS, or ECS), navigate code
repositories, and contribute to the security of operating systems.
Alongside Solution Architects, Data Engineers, and Software Engineers,
you'll co-create highly scalable and high-performance software, engaging
closely with stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables.
jop Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience5+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps
- 3+ years of experience in a dedicated security role, with expertise in DevSecOps principles
- Expert knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet)
- Experience and knowledge around vulnerability management and security automation (SAST tools like sonarqube or fortify, SCA tools like sonatype nexus iq, DAST, container vulnerability, compliance assessment tools like chef inspec, Openshift ACS)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Ansible, terraform, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), Nexus, Artifactory, or comparable substitutes
- Knowledge and hands on experience in monitoring, and measuring operational effectiveness
- Experience with IAM and OS security involving Active Directory, Windows networking, Group policies, DNS, PKI, and Certificates
- Knowledge and hands on experience in monitoring, and measuring operational effectiveness
- Hands-on experience in code repository/ CI&CD including Github Actions, jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Gitlab and other
- Experience with IAM and OS security involving Active Directory, Windows networking, Group policies, DNS, PKI, and Certificates
- Has familiarity with Linux, Database, and Application server administration in a production environment
- Working knowledge of OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, NIST/NVD (National Vulnerability Database), CVSS (Common Vulnerability Scoring System), CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures), technical security vulnerability remediation/mitigation, and security risk oversight
- Experience in scripting languages like Powershell, Bash
